I don't get it either Rusty. It's almost as if their plan from the get-go was to run the site into the ground. A damn waste of an awesome resource, to say the least.

As far as starting this site... thanks, but what else were we to do? It was a no-brainer really. PUTC was as good as dead. Ulmus created the forum and the rest of us built it from there.

In the warning that was spicificly mentioned. But that's not the funny part. The funny part is who made the post. Way to clean it up PUTC

There are a few more just like it further down. They sure are doing an awesome job keeping up on that trolling.   

really is a joke over there, why even post the warnings

They never followed through the last time they threatened.

Unless they assign people to the site, and provide them tools and capability to actively purge the immature content, nothing will change.

The UBB version they're running is about 10+ years old. There are numerous features and options in newer versions to help deal with such operation and administrative tasks.

I would rather just post the articles from there over here where we have complete control.

between greg, me, and quig, we have plenty of napalm to go around and there hasn't been and won't be any BS.

^^^ They do post some good story's and articles there. It still a good source for the industry news. Too bad they are letting the place go to crap instead of building it up to be better.

I'll try to post more PUTC articles here. And, as much as I hate the blogs, and most of the idiots commenting on them, we should probably throw this link in there too. I'm sure there are a lot of decent people who scan the comments that would be an asset here.

I agree, between the 3 of us, we can cut out the crap if/when it happens.

It is nice to come to a site thats run by adults and has members that act adult-like as well.

It's interesting how people say they want to look into a place that doesn't have the issues, but when you point them in the rite direction they don't listen. I guess it's like leading a horse to water.
