Patio Work Empty

Had the old, sloping patio slab broken up and removed and replaced with new concrete that is 12x32. Will be getting some dirt and sod brought in to clean up the slope of the yard a bit. And look to have the patio covered soon too. Old slab was 10x15, and was sloping badly towards the back part of the yard.

It faces almost due East, so we get the evening shade in the back as it is, but we want it covered too.

Have you considered an awning like you have on the fifth wheel? I commercial I see all summer is a sunset awning.

We hardly use the one of the fifth wheel here, just too much wind. Its always blowing here from one direction or another.

Looking into steel patio covers, kinda like this one.

That will be nice. The first time out with my fifth wheel we lost the awning on the first night. A storm picked up while we were hiking on a mountain and the rain and wind destroyed it. Always lowered it after that.

Looks good. Keep watering the concrete for 30 days since the pour.
Should make outside more bearable once the awning is on.

I had a nice cover like that for the Pit Boss until the Shepard decided to chew it up.
