| No Ram Box. This one has the center console, pwr seat, 8.4 touch screen. A variation of different media inputs, SD, USB, multiple power outlets.
Also got them to throw in some step rails. Damn near need a rope to climb in the bastard with out them. This variation of the HEMI is more responsive than the 08 I had. About 50 more hp. It scoots right on along.

| Nope, I don't pull anything bigger than whats in my sig pic any more. I think that option is still on hold for the Crew Cabs anyway. Its a 2013 Hemi 6-Speed, one of the leftovers before the 8-speeds that are coming. They gave me a smoking deal on it. I'll swap keys and the payment will go down. The Ford held it's value well.
Back during the bankruptcy crap, they forced the dealer here in Richardson to close down, this new one opened up right next door to the closed one. Brilliance on several levels. And they were about 2 grand less than any dealer around here on the exact truck. Being new has them hungry it seems.
I'll get some actual pics of it and post them later.

| Sweetness pup. The hemi does tote the mail quite nicely. Dodge has come a long way with their trucks over the last 5 years or so. Post up some picks when you get settled. | |

| Congrats. I just took my '12 Power Wagon to the dealer I bought it from. They are giving me $39,000 for trade and I ordered a black '13 Laramie Power Wagon with NAV, roof lights, rear defrost, remote start, spray in bedliner and the parksense rear park assist. | |

| That's a sharp truck Jason. Chrysler interiors have made huge improvements. That maroon color sure looks sweet when clean.
bones, that's a capable well equipped rig you have on order. When do you expect it to arrive? What plant is it being assembled?

They say 8-10 weeks, could be sooner, not sure. All the Ram HD's are done in Mexico as far as I know. I'm just replacing my current 2012 Power Wagon with a 2013 model. When I bought my 2012, you weren't able to get it with Laramie package, only SLT. So now I am getting it exactly the way I want it. Back to black as well, when I traded my '05 Power Wagon, it was black and I went with mineral gray for the 2012 which I did not like.

| The color is Deep Cherry Red Pearl Coat. Pics just don't capture the look. It has lots of flake in the paint that really pops in the sun.
The tranny in this one is somewhat improved over the 08 I had, no more dead pedal in second gear or an interminable period waiting for a downshift when you needed to go. It is a solid truck.

I was going to ask. I haven't driven one in a few years and the trans was awful in the one I did. It took forever to shift and couldn't make up its mind. You give it a quick half throttle and it would have to think for afew seconds. In my tundra it takes off like a raped ape instantly. glad to hear that one is better. keep the feedback coming as you break it in... I am thinking about a new tundra at the end of the year or early next year when the new 2014 comes out. I may look at the other brands again as well, but I haven't made up my mind yet at all. I think I want to get a crew cab this time as my needs are changing with the rug rat around. I am having a hard time talking myself into it because I have a 6.5 bed this time and would have a smaller bed next time. But the bottom line is I have run into wanting a bigger cab more often than wanting a bigger bed. All my field stuff would still fit in the smaller bed. something just seems wrong about the smaller bed, but I think I may go that way I just got a letter from the dealer that I normal go to and they want to buy my truck for 30-32K!!! great resale is no lie... wow, I only paid 38K ____________________________________ 2023 Tundra Crewmax Platinum 4x4 2016 Tundra Crewmax Platinum 4x4 2013 Ram 1500 Sport 4x4, 5.7, 8-speed, Maximum Steel Metallic 2010 Tundra 4x4 5.7 , 33" Cooper ST Maxx on RW Wheels (sold)

chances are pretty good. This rig (knock on wood) hasn't had single glitch in 50K+ miles and has great resale. So there isn't a reason a tundra wouldn't be at the top of the list again. I do like to look at what the others have and the GMC was in second last time but fell short in a few select areas, so I went with the tundra and couldn't have asked for more. ____________________________________ 2023 Tundra Crewmax Platinum 4x4 2016 Tundra Crewmax Platinum 4x4 2013 Ram 1500 Sport 4x4, 5.7, 8-speed, Maximum Steel Metallic 2010 Tundra 4x4 5.7 , 33" Cooper ST Maxx on RW Wheels (sold)

So will the next 8 to 10 weeks seem like an eternity? That's a very well equipped rig. You're now required to post pictures with the rig conquering a piece of terrain some of us that are more grounded aren't capable.

lol I will have some photos but I'll be the first to tell you it probably will never see any serious offroading. I got over that stage with my '05. Now I have it mostly for the capabilities it has, "just in case".

| Congrats on the new truck, both you and one for J Bones. I looked at new trucks last year but couldn't find what I needed for towing on the lots that was better than I currently have. ____________________________________ Don't believe everything you read on the internet- George Washington.

| so I have been checking out the crewcab laramie and I have to say, I am impressed. Nice rig and TONS of features
they are coming with an 8-speed now in the 1/2 ton? I wonder how that shifts.
My two concerns are
1) reliability (although I don't plan on keeping rigs a long time anymore, 3-4 years max)
2) resale (my tundra is off the charts here and I am not sure how the ram would do) ____________________________________ 2023 Tundra Crewmax Platinum 4x4 2016 Tundra Crewmax Platinum 4x4 2013 Ram 1500 Sport 4x4, 5.7, 8-speed, Maximum Steel Metallic 2010 Tundra 4x4 5.7 , 33" Cooper ST Maxx on RW Wheels (sold)

| this is what I am afraid of, trade in value
crew cab laramie 4x4 2010 with 50K miles (KBB.com)
Excellent $25,087 Very Good $24,587 Good $23,587 Fair $20,987 Verify Condition
Tundra 2010 crewmax limited 50K miles
Excellent $38,465 Very Good $37,865 Good $36,665 Fair $33,465
The limited and laramie are the right ones to compare, correct? Laramie is the top trim.

| Really? All things being equal, there's a $13,378 difference in net cost of ownership? Not simply considering resale amount in a vacuum. | |
