| The Ram ecodiesel isn't out yet but there's already complaints about overheating. I'm not sure it it's limited to the Jeep Grand Cherokee. I can't find it but someone referenced an online towing test by a diesel blog and they complained about overheating. And then there's one anecdotal owner story. I guess we'll see. If true it would be a major design blunder. http://www.airforums.com/forums/f238/2014-grand-cherokee-eco-diesel-115460.html | |

| Don't recall the dieselpower mag having any issues pulling a 7200lb car trailer for several hundred miles. | |

| There's going to be all kinds of issues popping up, mainly from the NON-Ram crowd, about the EcoDiesel. Just trying to dis-credit it in any way possible. We need to sit back, wait and see. As far as the Grand Cherokee goes, just because it has a problem doesn't guarantee the same issue will arise in the Ram. Same engine, yes. Different platform, different results. | |

| Same deal when the aluminium headed Duramax was being launched in 2000 calendar year. Heads were going to melt, head gasket failures, heads being lifted off the block, you name it, it was said. | |

| This case might be a one-off and not a design flaw as it's hard to imagine overheating scenarios when the temps are in a freezing range.

| There have been a few Cruze cars overheat from stuck electric thermostats. Time will tell. | |

| I've seen a couple F150 threads with overheating and no heat in the cab during one of the extreme cold periods back about a month ago. Extreme temperatures will bring out odd occurrences with complicated mechanical machinery. | |

| I finally received an ecodiesel email update yesterday. It shared nothing new except to stay tuned for the real ecodiesel email update. | |
