I have been getting tired of taking the drive to the stores to find out they are always out of the shells I shoot. I'm pretty much settled on a #8 shot with a 1 1/8 oz. load. I ordered a Lee re-loader today and will start reloading next week or two, I've been saving my shells from the trap range. It's more of a supply thing, knowing I have the shells to shoot, over a money deal, although saving some will help. I look at this as more of a hobby on a nice quiet night than a necessity.
I wanted to start to reload rifle, but it is a lot more of an initial investment and I only shoot around 100-150 rounds of the 5.56 once a month or so. Handgun even less.
