When I bought the truck used earlier this year, they had put 2 brand new Goodyears on the front, and moved the 2 decent ones to the back.
11000 miles later, the rears were mostly gone, fronts were about 1/2 done. Zero traction on a wet road. Like driving on ice trying to pull out from a stop.
Cooper makes a tire for Discount Tire, its comparable to the Cooper AT3 XLT's. Its the Cooper ATP, their exclusive to Discount Tire Cooper tire...they just came out with the ATP2. New tread design, new sidewall design, and same compound thats in the AT3's...just $45 per tire cheaper.
Bought a set today. Made more of a difference in the front end that I thought tires could ever do. I guess the OEM Goodyears were worse than I thought. To this day, I've never had a decent set of Goodyear tires, factory or otherwise.
