| What gets me about liberals is they always want the rich to pay their fair share to subsidize the poor and yet don't think it's fair for a rich state to subsidize a poor one.
I just hope that eliminating the deduction doesn't cause a lot of east coast liberals to move to Texas and ruin that state.

| Wow, my brother lives in central NY and thinks all the taxes he pays are for a "better" life. I wonder if he knows how much of those high taxes don't even benefit him? | |

| Taxes and insurance rates are so high here that I know we will have to move in the next couple of years. Most likely 2 years when my daughter goes to college. My wife will move to Georgia, and I have no idea where I will call home. Just not NJ! ____________________________________ Don't believe everything you read on the internet- George Washington.

| No, it doesn't seem they will. I try my best to be pleasant and go out of my way to do things for her to no avail. She never misses a beat in saying something nasty. Her mother was here for two weeks after the Florida hurricane and asked her if she had to be nasty all the time. She said she doesn't want to divorce but if I want to, she will sign the papers. ____________________________________ Don't believe everything you read on the internet- George Washington.

| That"s too bad. However don't be too hard on yourself. There are several guys i know who had long marriges, 30yrs, in some cases that the wife left. They appeared to have a form of mid-life crisis, one 20+ yr marriage left all 4 kids with the husband and house. She has since been seen on social media living the party life of kids in their 20's. Anyway, multiple examples of where they left and didn't put up much, if any, fight for material things or custody. Just keep on chugging along, someone has to find out if that light is the tunnel or train! | |

| Ive been wondering about that too Quig, sorry its not moving in a better direction. But it is good news that the mother at least notices the treatment. A friend of mine had his wife leave him for the party life. He got her out of a bad place in life 20 years ago when she was 19 and then a few years ago she changed. She really regrets it now but he has moved on thankfully.
Right now in Lubbock we are going through a fight with trying to figure out exactly how much the city government has been using the local electric utility to hide revenue for projects around town. Its been going on for years and through multiple mayors and some councilmen/councilwomen. I'm glad it seems to finally be coming to a head as more details keep coming out of whats basically overcharging to create a slush fund.

| It's a roller coaster ride for sure. I can only control what I do so right now I'm just a passenger on the ride. ____________________________________ Don't believe everything you read on the internet- George Washington.
