Ike Gauntlet - XD Gas Vs. Diesel

The 5L Cummins XD came up short again. This time it's at the hands of the the new 5.6L gas XD. The gasser is no slouch at 390HP. It beat the diesel by about 45 secs.

Oddly, the non turbo'd gasser was much stronger even towing between 8,000ft and 11,000 ft elevation.

So far it's been a flop. On track to sell in a year what Ford sells in 5 days. I'm afraid it was the answer to a question nobody asked. It weighs about the same as an F250 with less capabilities. 310/555 was good power 15 yrs ago.
