We're that ignorant unfortunately, at every measurable metric. We know anything about anything.

You could put up a globe of the world and people couldn't point out Syria, Afghanistan, or Iraq on the map. One could pick a hundred different scenarios of which people wouldn't have a clue. I'm talking about general knowledge: geography, civics, history.
