| Always liked the Comanche ...... wouldn't mind if they took the Uniframe concept and did the same with the current Grand Cherokee. | |

| I owned this truck from 2002 until early 2011 when I bought my current truck, 2002 Diesel 4X4 with Allison trans. It was a good truck. | |

| I've spent a few overnights sleeping at truck stops on my way to a destination. Pull in around 9:00PM fuel up, tell the attendant what I'm doing and they usually tell you a good place to park where the trucks won't be pulling in and out all night. Back on the road at 7:00AM. | |

Truckless here too, unfortunately. The plan was to keep the Ranger going until the fall when I could (hopefully) swing a new F-150 or Ram 1500 work truck ... reg. cab, 8' box, base V-6. Had to perform last rites on the Ranger ... it made it to trade in under its own power but I figure if I held off till fall like I planned it might not have any trade in value at all. The bad thing was the current budget wasn't anywhere big enough for a new truck (we just replaced DW's vehicle six months ago) and the used ones seemed to have big miles on 'em and they still wanted big money. The ones that didn't have big miles on 'em they wanted more they did new. Just not in the right place at the right time.

+ 1. Very nice! I've been truckless for almost five years now. Yes, it sucks! But until our economy recovers, or more importantly, until my personal financial situation recovers, i'll still be stealing the wife's car to get to work.

I hear you ... at the rate I was going, stealing DW's car would have been next on the list. I'm just hoping the economy and our jobs hang in there until the new vehicles are paid off. Still riding two wheels, Greg? Another bike (Street Glide or possibly an Indian) is on my bucket list. When I was younger the Street Glide would have been parked in the garage and I'd be worrying on how to get to work in the winter. Getting older and more responsible may be the thing to do but it isn't much fun.

| I take my brothers Midnight Venture out every now again, but not much. One day i'll get another Hog. Maybe a FatBoy or something. I like the StreetGlide too but I don't think I need a bagger. Still a bit of a learning curve shifting without an ankle. I never did use the heel/toe shifter on my Heritage. I might look into a solenoid shifter with a thumb button or something similar. But ya, definitely will be back in the wind as soon as I can. Miss it big time! | |

Thanks bro, so far I really like this thing. We'll see if it can hold up like my tundra did.

What's your verdict on the eight speed, BB? so far I can't say enough about it, shifts very fast, is very smooth and keeps you right in the heart of the powerband. ZF seems to know their stuff. I wouldn't have bought the truck without it

| Thanks guys! I love everything about it except the mileage... and the tires. (I'd rather have Goodyear Duratechs like I had on my Silverado, but then I'd get even worse mileage.) | |

Yeah that does look like a HEMI badge on the front fender. Still looks good however.
