* New Members *

Hey guys. We have to make sure any new users that register either fill out their profile or make their PUTC user name known or something to identify these guys. We have to stay on top of this to ensure we don't wind up in the same mess with SPAMMERS as our last hangout.

Zero tolerance with SPAM. If someone requires a link in their 'sig' they need to get it approved first by one of the Admins or Moderators.

In order to give the guys coming over from PUTC a fair start here (and that would pretty much be all of us) I've had to turn off the feature which restricts new members from posting links and such within 7 day of registering.

Please note that as of Monday, March 11th, 2013, I will be turning that feature back on again. In the meanwhile we'll have to be more cautious with new members and SPAM control.

I've been absent too much for too long, from what I can see it looks like we haven't been hit with to much spam? Or are you doing a great job of policing it Greg?

We've had a couple here and there, and they've gotten nuked in short order. The fact that it takes a week before a new member can post links or pictures is usually a good enough deterant. Thanks for asking BamBam, and again, welcome back.
