Yes I did order a few things for the truck. Nope I ain't got that kind of money. Although a guy I know recently got an excellent deal on 12 3500 fully loaded down by you Bones it was such a deal he skipped buying his usual GM product.

That should help with the get up and go.

Does your state have thorough emissions inspections? AZ got crazy a few years back. At least it's not as bad as some state's random roadside inspections.

Emissions inspections are done via OBDII and visual to make sure the components are in place, also there is a visual safety inspection.

It is all being sent to my buddy's shop. It'll boost the egt's up and I am hauling on Sunday so I am not going to unecsssarily risk engine and transmission damage for an sxtra couple days.

At idle they sound similar but when underway one sounds like I6 other V8.

Opps, I was thinking the DT466 was a V8.
Many school buses I grew up around used a version of the DT444. Hence the 7.3L exhaust note reminds me of a school bus. Don't get me wrong I think the 7.3 is a stout engine.

At work we have some DT444s but most were lost on the storm before I was there. Most are CAT powered GMCs. I've never seen CATs leak like they do at this place. Have some C7 and 6.7 cummins powered bluebirds for big buses all garbage. I am learning and getting a lot of experience but it's unfortunately not a long term place just till I figure out my next move in life and where I want to go in the field.

I'm surprised those programming companies are still in business. I think a year or so the EPA started fining them and requiring them to repurchase units from customers. Looks like Edge Products is still selling diesel tuners for road use. Maybe it's just the DFP delete tunes?

I think they came to an agreement with the companies. The customer has to send a signed waiver certifying that they are for offroad use.
