| Nearly 18 years of motorsports tradition ended this morning, when at 6:00 Eastern Time Fox pulled the plug on SPEED in the United States and started its new ESPN competitor, 'Fox Sports 1'. It's a sad day for motorsports! | |

| Speed aligned closely with Nascar and we all know how that's died. Speed pissed me off years ago when they stopped covering motorcycle road racing.
I get a chance to see how bad Sports 1 is tomorrow when I record Sunday's Indy MotoGP race.

| It went downhill when they changed the name from Speed Vision to Speed. When you lose the vision, you're gonna crash. | |

| I am going to miss their coverage of the Barrett-Jackson auctions... I am not shedding a tear over the loss of their non-stop, 24/7 coverage of Nazcow... | |

| I pretty much stopped watching when it became Speed. Recently it's like watching Power Block but with auctions and race coverage. I will miss the excellent Formula 1 coverage while not horse showing on sundays. | |
