Sweet kid. She's having fun. Is it just me or is your dog a little chunky? My grandson is almost fourteen months now and walking. Talking a few words. Pretty soon I'll be trying to teach him to sit down and shut up. Let the fun begin.

ya, first one. second would be tough as my wife works and we are patching together child care at teh house with family 4 days a week and a nice lady we met 1 day a week. I really don't want to do day care. We would like a second but we are getting old fast for having kids.
my business is doing well (knock on wood) so if it gets to the point of the wifey staying home, then let er rip.
I, of course, try daily for another, LOL. Although the pill and the wife saying no gets in the way, darn it. Just have to keep trying, HEHE.

When my current batch of kids were born I stayed home for 8 years until they all started school. At the time my wife worked as a P.E. and we could afford to do that. During the time I stayed home I went to college and picked up an Associates degree and went on to get a Bachelors. Money wise, I didn't get ahead since I was older and could only go so far in a government job, but at least now I have the option to work indoors or outdoors when I chose.

When we were foster parents we thought that day care would be bad for the children, vs someone to stay at home. A social worker recommended we at least try it(daycare). We found several in the area and one was almost always recommended, we used it. Now I believe a good daycare is beneficial to the child's social development. My cousin thought otherwise and even home schooled her 2 children, they don't seem to have developed social skills and aren't even friendly. I was the #1 parent against daycare, but have since changed my mind. YMMV.

We sent all the kids to daycare on days I had class and then eventually work. We had a great lady that the kids liked and she kept a nice environment. One day when my middle child was in kindergarten, her husband went to the bus stop and the bus kept on going. They called the school, the driver had gone home and said my son wasn't in school that day. The daycare women called the principal and got them out to the bus only to find my son still sitting on a locked bus in a parking lot in the June sun. Lucky this lady was on the ball!

she goes over to her cousins house 2 days a week so she gets to be around another kid who is right around her age.
That's good enough for me right now. Her mom works at home so she gets to see her periodically throught the day which is also nice.
the lady who does the one day other than family will do it here and was a pre-school teacher for many many years so we also get some teaching involved as well

My youngest is 4 1/2 and almost ready for the school system. Daycare has been great for social development but we won't miss the monthly daycare bill.

There's pills for that problem too, but you'll likely end up in court and she will crucify you on the stand in court.

Is that the cool way of you saying she keeps them in her purse? But you do have a beautiful baby and dog.

Nice. Ours will be 2 years in April. The other day she was running around naked in our bedroom before tubby time and she left a giant turd in my wifes closet on the floor. Oh the joys!

Reeeeaaaaal funny!! She was hiding in there... and usually when she's hiding, she's pooping. She used to tell us all the time when she had to poop and pee a few months ago. Now she only tells us sometimes. Still trying to get her potty trained.
