| That's sharp, the front end almost carries a splitter on the lower bumper. Wonder if it has any functional attributes? | |

| one thing maybe you guys can help me with is I am trying to make sure I have the size of the wheel tire package right. so... it comes with the sport wheels which from the ram website are 275/60/20, which I am almost positive are goodyear SRA, when I look these up on the website (goodyear) they say 33" diameter. now, I want the 17" wheels I picked out from discount tire. I would like to stay with the stock dia of 33". problem is when you shop for tires with the Ram and the sport model on tire sites, they all only have 20" tire options. so I try to put it the laramie with the 17" wheel option, I then get some choices, which none are 33". The one optional size is 275/70/17 which is 32.2" dia. so I guess I am trying to figure out what the hell 17" wheel tires fit on a 2013 ram sport. here is the goodyears (275/60/20) http://www.tirerack.com/tires/tires.jsp?tireMake=Goodyear&tireModel=Wrangler+SR-A&partnum=76SR0WSRAV2.I want to be able to see what options I have....The dealer will give me what tires I want and I told them they can keep the wheels and tires that are on it from the factory as payment since I don't want them. I told them I needed 265/70/17 since that's what comes on the laramie when you get 17" wheels, but that's messed up, those are only 31". ____________________________________ 2023 Tundra Crewmax Platinum 4x4 2016 Tundra Crewmax Platinum 4x4 2013 Ram 1500 Sport 4x4, 5.7, 8-speed, Maximum Steel Metallic 2010 Tundra 4x4 5.7 , 33" Cooper ST Maxx on RW Wheels (sold)

| Without any investigation you could opt for 275/70/18's which are just north of 33" in diameter as that's what I had on the Silverado.
You can use the tire racks spec sheet to determine diameter and size that would be close to what your wanting.
Which brand and model tire are you wanting?

| Tire rack has some 33X12.5X17 inch tires. Don't know if they would fit. | |

| the 12.5 is too wide I think, I almost sure of that. i have been looking around some ram forums but I am seeing limited info on the newer trucks.
i think the 285/70/17 would fit, but I need to check on it. BFG has the AT KO in load D in that size.
I guess I can go back to the dealer and see how a ram looks with the 17" wheels and 265/70/17 which are about 31.8" in what I am looking at.
I just don't want big truck dinky tire look, nor do I want huge tires that suck the gas.
so far it looks like one of three sizes would be good. 265/70/17, 275/70/17, or 285/70/17. the middle one is only in Load E, which isn't at the top of my list this time. ____________________________________ 2023 Tundra Crewmax Platinum 4x4 2016 Tundra Crewmax Platinum 4x4 2013 Ram 1500 Sport 4x4, 5.7, 8-speed, Maximum Steel Metallic 2010 Tundra 4x4 5.7 , 33" Cooper ST Maxx on RW Wheels (sold)

No I didn't get a chance to drive one, nobody has one around here. I loved the way the regular one drove so it wasn't worth the money and chance of more to break. I was at the top of the price range I could afford so I went with the Rambox instead. That I will use a ton and is perfect for my field work ____________________________________ 2023 Tundra Crewmax Platinum 4x4 2016 Tundra Crewmax Platinum 4x4 2013 Ram 1500 Sport 4x4, 5.7, 8-speed, Maximum Steel Metallic 2010 Tundra 4x4 5.7 , 33" Cooper ST Maxx on RW Wheels (sold)

| Looking at specs on the 265 series, you'll lose around 1/2" of ground clearance, might be a consideration for your field work. | |

Well having such a long warranty is a good idea since we all KNOW your gonna keep this truck MUCH longer than the 3yrs you've keep that Toyota around.

yea, I am gaining information that the 285 would fit on these wheels and the 18 off-set would be close to stock. I am not totally sure yet but. I found a good Ram forum http://www.ramforumz.com/.I also have to get some skid plates put on this thing which shouldn't be too much of a problem I would think. Pretty lame they don't put them on all 4x4 stock like toyota does. ____________________________________ 2023 Tundra Crewmax Platinum 4x4 2016 Tundra Crewmax Platinum 4x4 2013 Ram 1500 Sport 4x4, 5.7, 8-speed, Maximum Steel Metallic 2010 Tundra 4x4 5.7 , 33" Cooper ST Maxx on RW Wheels (sold)

If it's a POS, it's gone right away. There really wasn't all that much difference to go from 70K miles to lifetime, at least that gives me the option to keep it longer if I want to. ____________________________________ 2023 Tundra Crewmax Platinum 4x4 2016 Tundra Crewmax Platinum 4x4 2013 Ram 1500 Sport 4x4, 5.7, 8-speed, Maximum Steel Metallic 2010 Tundra 4x4 5.7 , 33" Cooper ST Maxx on RW Wheels (sold)

| BB, if you send an email to DiscountTire or TireRack, they will tell you what size(s) will equal the OEM with the wheel/tire combination you are looking for. | |

Does RAM have an option or package that includes the skid plates? I would guess they would have but I haven't researched it. On the Ford the skid plates depending on trim are usually optional in some form or fashion. They're included on the XL trim with 101A package, FX4 trim by default, but optional on the Lariat 4x4 with the 501A or 502A as the off road package. Not exactly an example of simplicity.

I didn't send them an email yet, their on-line system doesn't think outside the box. If you put in sport they will only show you 20" wheels and tires. If you put in laramie, you can then pick 17"s but they don't have any 285s listed. I am hearing that 285s fit on these things stock without a problem from the Ram forums but I just need to figure out the wheel offset backspacing differences between stock and the wheels I am getting or want to get. The lat thing I need if for the dealer buying the tires and then they rub or don't fit, that would suck.. ____________________________________ 2023 Tundra Crewmax Platinum 4x4 2016 Tundra Crewmax Platinum 4x4 2013 Ram 1500 Sport 4x4, 5.7, 8-speed, Maximum Steel Metallic 2010 Tundra 4x4 5.7 , 33" Cooper ST Maxx on RW Wheels (sold)

| Awesome news BB! Mine will hopefully be in around the same time as well. The Laramie PW comes with the chrome projector headlights and those blacked out lights are really growing on me but the dealer can't seem to find a part # for them. I have since found out they look to be the Sport or R/T version like you are getting. I'm not interested in buying them but I will try to find someone who wants the chrome ones and we can swap. | |
