From the article...Texas parents are still more likely to vaccinate their children than the US as a whole. In Texas, 97.3% of children get two doses of the measles, mumps and rubella (MMR) vaccine, versus 94% across the US.

True but I feel sorry for anybody who has to fight off these kind of people at the state level. The people managed to fend off HB 1485 so hopefully they keep this guy in check too.

I keep looking for the best state to move to. Mine is slowly but surely heading for political and social decline. Want open space for hunting/fishing, clean and ample water, moderate climate, low taxes, low crime, good schools, fiscally conservative politics.

Montana would be nice but property taxes are creeping up.
Colorado might be a possibility.
Wyoming has low taxes but seems to be mostly flat, windy, and desolate.
Utah seems to have its act together but too religious for our house.
Idaho might be good too.
