| I'm waiting for some real world testing before making any judgement on this. $4000 premium for the diesel, and only available to the general population with premium packages. As others have said, why does diesel option also mean leather. | |

| If low trims are such a low take rate then why not let the general public order a fleet model? Not like they are asking for something that is not in production already. | |

| The XLT is Ford's most sold trim. Seems like they should have offered it there.
I got to thinking about about FE and I started wondering what kind of MPG the 3.0 will achieve when towing 10K pounds in comparison to a 6.7 in an F-250. I would think the 6.7 would get better FE in that scenario. Or at least the same. The reason I'm wondering is because for a little more money you could get the F-250 and have considerably more capability on tap, while not sacrificing economy when loaded. That would make the 3.0 a moot point unless you only use it empty.

| The 3L will probably be a little more comfortable to drive vs a f250 but price will be a huge factor.
I still haven't figured out what happened to the F250 cab design. I always do a double take. It looks strange. More narrow and tall?

| The 6.7 has been pretty good from what I've heard and in higher HP range the Ford trans sounds more robust than the allison.
Then again, I'm still running a 6.5/4L80E too. | |
