Plush 2017 Ram Power Wagon Laramie Caught Testing

We got our first look a the 2017 Ram Power Wagon at this year’s Chicago Auto Show, and we were impressed right away with its bold new styling, powerful Hemi powerplant, and flexy suspension. We only saw one trim level unveiled in Chicago, but were told there would be two additional trim packages, including Ram’s ultra-luxury Laramie trim, which the team at SpideBlide just caught testing on the open road.

The 2017 Power Wagon Laramie is sporting the same Rebel-style grille that the standard Power Wagon has, and although the photo shows it in black, we’re betting it will be chrome when it hits dealer lots. The Laramie keeps all the same awesome benefits of the Power Wagon, including the awesome 6.4L Hemi engine, sleek front-bumper–mounted Warn winch, and off-road–ready suspension, with the added benefit of the premium interior for luxurious everyday driving and extra confortable wheeling.

The Laramie trim for the 2017 Power Wagon hasn’t officially been announced, so there’s no telling what extra details it may have until it’s officially announced, but based of the spy shots, it looks like one badass truck built for nearly everything. We’ll update you as soon as we have more information on Ram’s latest off-road beast.

Power Wagon found here with a bunch of HDs doing some high altitude towing testing. Interesting to note that he mentions the new 'corporate' face of Ram, featuring the Rebel grill. Ram trying to move away from the Dodge crosshairs grill to further distinguish itself as a separate brand.
