GoPro video

Bought a new GoPro and tried it out , got some rather boring video .

I think the trend will move to the car video camera as people can use the videos in case of accidents.
You can you tube Russian car accidents and watch for years there are so many.
Your GoPro seems to work very well.

Another thing , how long should it take to upload a video that long ? It took 40 minutes on my system .

We have a SJCAM SJ4000 that we got off Amazon. Its a fraction of the cost of a GoPro and does the same thing. Controlled wirelessly through apps on our iPad and Android phones. All of the GoPro accessories work with it too.

Uploads speeds are dependent of video resolution and bandwidth. It took a while for the one above on a cheesy DSL connection in Colorado, but I can upload quicker here at home with a faster connection.

Engineers Pass part of the Alpine Loop in Colorado...right at and above 13000ft in places.

We hope to get a better video next summer. Gonna mount the camera up on the bull bar part of the front bumper.
