| Nissan Titan XD Warrior Concept Debuts in Detroit This Nissan was built for the dirt - Quote :
- We got our first look at the 2016 Nissan Titan XD at the 2015 North American International Auto Show. This year, the team from Nissan brought their latest concept truck: the Nissan Titan XD Warrior.
Nissan raised the bar when they first introduced the Titan XD with its 5.0L V-8 Cummins turbodiesel engine and created a new class of truck. The XD Warrior concept brings the bar to an even higher level. Starting with a crew-cab Titan XD with a 5.0L Cummins, the Nissan Design Team added an off-road suspension, awesome styling features, and plenty of luxury touches.
To improve the off-road capability and stuff 37-inch tall tires wrapped around custom 18-inch aluminum wheels underneath the beefy Warrior, a long-travel suspension was added giving the XD Warrior 3-inches of lift and extending the track width from 80.6 inches to 86.6 inches. The front suspension features custom upper and lower control arms with performance ball joints and internal-bypass coilovers shocks with custom reservoir mounts. Out back, the leaf-sprung suspension was raised using lift blocks keeping the payload capacity of the XD. Internal-bypass shocks were also added to improve ride comfort and handling. Finishing off the performance suspension are hydraulic bump stops on the front and rear suspension.
Building on the warrior inspired styling of the 2016 Nissan Titan XD the design team expanded on the protective and rugged styling of the Titan’s exterior for the Warrior concept. With dramatic angular and machine-like details, including the widened fenders and bedsides, beefy front skidplate, bold front bumper, and the quad-tipped exhaust mounted in the rear bumper, give the Warrior concept a “modern armor” appearance.
The unique exterior details don’t stop there. With custom LED lights front and rear, as well as LED off-road lights mounted in the roof, the Titan XD Warrior will be seen. In addition to the bold body upgrades, carbon fiber spoilers were added to the rear of the cab as well as the tailgate to improve aerodynamics. Completing the menacing look of the Warrior is a custom matte-gunmetal paint called “Thunder” and is accented with “Magama” orange and black accents.
The inside of the Titan Warrior concept wasn’t forgotten about, with performance and durability a top priority, the Nissan design team didn’t disappoint. With seats covered in a carbon-colored high-strength seat fabric, burly auxiliary switches, auxiliary gauges and a billet aluminum steering wheel, the Warrior interior means business. With trucks doubling as daily drivers and weekend wheelers, interior luxury and convince was thought of too, with carbon fiber and polished chrome details adding a touch of class to the already plush interior. To keep your beverages hot or cold an integrated temperature controlled drink container was added to the center console.
Thanks to the popularity of the Ford Raptor, manufacturers are coming out with badass trucks like this, and we hope they keep on doing it! There is no official word if this sweet concept will be on sale, but we will keep you updated from the show floor. Truck Trend

| Have to give nissan credit for an honest effort this time.
Better than a paint/decal option GM has been putting out.

| Keep in mind, this is still just a concept. There's been no official word of the Warrior making production.
It does look good though.

| Their concepts normally look great but the production version looks like someone hit it with an ugly stick.
