Here's The 2015 Ford Ranger With It's New Look World Ranger That Is... Not For North America
Looks alright to me. I wonder if Ford will bring it here if GM's new mid sizers become a hit? Hope so!

2015 Ford Ranger Wildtrak New Global Truck Flagship Midsize Truck Packs Premium Features, Technology
Quote :
It’s not the first time we’ve said it, but we’re going to keep saying it until maybe, just maybe, someone in Dearborn hears us and has a change of heart. We really like the T6 Ford Ranger. It’s a good-looking, capable, and well-equipped midsize truck that we think would make a formidable competitor to the recently introduced Chevrolet Colorado and GMC Canyon. For the time being, Ford is committed to it’s all F-Series North American truck strategy. Plus, being the best-selling vehicle in North America for three solid decades, who are we to argue? But that doesn’t quench our longing to have the Ranger come to our shores. Making the truck even more attractive is a new premium Wildtrak package, which adds special styling flair and premium features to the Ranger.
The Wildtrak is packed with the latest safety technology, including lane-keeping alert and aid, adaptive cruise control, forward alert, front and rear park assist (though not self-parking), driver impairment monitor, hill-launch assist, hill-descent control, and adaptive load control, which adjust stability control settings based on vehicle load.
The Wildtrak’s signature color is “Pride Orange,” which the designers said was inspired by a pride of lions, embodying the truck’s rugged, go-anywhere capabilities. Other colors available are Cool White, Black Mica, Aluminum Metallic, and Metropolitan Gray. Orange is also used as an accent color in the modern interior, which features an eight-way power adjustable driver seat and dual TFT instrument cluster and 8-inch touchscreen display.
To help it deal with the often-inhospitable road conditions seen in many of the markets where it’s sold, it has 9 inches of ground clearance and a 31.5-inch water fording capability. A low-range transfer case and electronic locking rear differential are also included on the Wildtrak. Like other T6 Rangers, the Wildtrak is available with a 3.2L turbodiesel I-5 making 197 hp and 347 lb-ft of torque or a 2.2L I-4 diesel making 158 hp and 284 lb-ft. Its 7,716-pound towing capacity is as much as a F-150 with the base 3.5L V-6.
