For a while I kept thinking I'd buy a smoker. I went to a superbowl party and got to enjoy it for the first time. I was taking notes and ready to make it happen. It was delicious. I had seconds and thirds.

Later that night I didn't feel well and had a smokey after taste as if I ate an ashtray. It was the weirdest experience. Later I found out that it isn't the healthiest meal as there's loads of salts and carcinogens. Since then I scaled back my plans. I'll still try it on occasion but no need to make it a household staple. I'm sure something I'm currently doing will eventually take me out so there's no need to anything else.

Nice! I thought maybe as early as this weekend but the weather took a turn to the 20's at night and winds up to 60 mph for the weekend. Maybe next weekend some pork butt for pulled pork.
