| First batch was 14.5lbs, todays batch was about 13.5lbs. Great in Gumbo, beans, or just on the bbq with some sauce. | |

| Have you been making these for a while or is this the first time? My ex brother in law makes smoked sausage and has a list of customers that buy it every time he makes it. | |

Been doing it since I was 16 or so. Make a batch every winter. Sometimes more. Buddy just left. Made 26lbs for him. He brought over pork butts cut and ready to grind right at 4pm today. Finished at 7pm with the grinding and stuffing. He's gonna smoke them tomorrow. Puts me at about 54lbs since Saturday...my sausage is sore. It needs a rest. | |
