| Who the the hell at ford came up with the dumb ass idea to change an overhead valve engine to overhead cams and on top of that making one of the timing chains on the back of the engine so the engine has to be pulled to work on the rear timing chain ? | |

| Probably a group of idiotic Ford engine designers who were trying to build compact 4.0L V6, without any regard as to how difficult future repairs (to their motor design) would become.. | |

| Since they lower their price to sell vehicles, they make it up by making it so you have to have them do the repair work. ____________________________________ Don't believe everything you read on the internet- George Washington.

| My mechanic (he drives a Chevy) often tells me , 'Ford is putting my kids thru collage.' Dodge probably would be but there are far more Fords than Dodges. You see were Toyota put the starter on the 5.7l v8. I thought the Japanese were smarter than that. | |

| The back 3 spark plugs on my old Chevy had to be changed with magic because there was only about 2 inches to maneuver back there. I changed them once with my dads help and we both walked away with bloody knuckles and sore throats from cussing. | |

| At one time we owned a 1995 Chevy Blazer. I had to take it to a dealer to get the plug changed that was block by the steering shaft. I first tried specialized sockets and swivels but didn't have any luck. That SUV had more problems than all our vehicles put together. ____________________________________ Don't believe everything you read on the internet- George Washington.
