| It's great news!
But unfortunately, it's not the end of this..
Feinswine and her pals are not going to let this deter them. I'm they try to slip some of these items in this bill into another bill through an amendment of some kind.
They would just love to sneak something into a 'security' bill, or even a bill that will keep the goobermint running.
.
ETA:
When asked about this tonight, Lefty Bob Beckel on Fox's The Five, said that even if Feinswine tried to add an amendment onto one of those smaller gun bills that they are trying to get passed, that she still wouldn't have enough votes. He said that she should be lucky to even get 40 votes.
And when you have someone like him making such an admission on tv, you know that it's not looking good for the gun grabbers..

| Speaking of Feinstein, she is resigning from her Senate Military Appropriations Construction Committee position. She should be drummed out of the Senate for ethics violations. - Quote :
- Feinstein’s resignation followed six years of subcommittee work during which time her alleged conflict of interest stemmed from her husband Richard C. Blum’s ownership of Perini Corp. and URS Corp.
Feinstein, chairman and ranking member of the subcommittee, regularly reviewed and accepted contracts from her husband’s companies... Read more at http://mobile.wnd.com/2007/03/40845/#Pkb3cwTACpbz462t.99

| The resigning of her position on that committee is step in the right direction.
Her being kicked out of office is what I really want to see, though..

| I see it as more of a side-step to what they really want.
Permanent records (like the type that failed miserably in Canada)
Limited magazine capacity (And the possible illegalization of all detatchable magazines through the new Colorado law making all magazines that can be readily/easily modified to accept over 15 rounds illegal. Base plate extentions ya know.)
and such.
This is a win, but a minor one in the sceme of the entire bill. ____________________________________ Why not?

| It's a win but I agree with Ulmus, a minor one. They knew the bill wouldn't pass so they will table it and try to push it through again with some more bills. We in NJ are still waiting to see if the ban will go through here or not. Without the veto of the governor it has a chance. ____________________________________ Don't believe everything you read on the internet- George Washington.

| Hopefully AR demand slows and prices come back down to earth.

| I don't see prices going down on AR's/AK's/etc until all of these bills get chopped off at the knees with NO votes in Congress.
Then sanity will return...
