WTF is going on in Iraq? "Armed" militants in heavily fortified Toyota pickups are just taking over. The security force we trained and left behind up-armored Humvees, 5 tons etc are just rolling over. All we are seeing is pics of burning American iron.
That region needs a dictator, those people don't seem to be able to get along with each other.
Way to go Bush!

What's not spoken about in public or media is the closed doors US MO. Our actions of war, in multiple countries, killing hundreds of thousands of people, motivate and incentivize people who previously weren't motivated to hate and want to kill but they are now in greater numbers than ever before. Ever go stomp on an ant pile? What are the ants reaction? No different here. Amazing what happens when you invade sovereign countries, occupy, police them, blow up entire city blocks, towns, kill entire families. Killing people is a considerable motivator to avenge or revenge motivation. To many in these countries its simply about survival. Are we really that disconnected to believe when a drone in Yemen fires a hell fire and kills a 40 or more at a wedding party they all love the US for doing so? Our country is incapable of understanding repercussions for killing hundreds of thousands of people? Whether we deemed them good or bad people, it doesn't matter, the reaction these people will have will be humanly natural just to survive.
What we're not told is this was the plan all along and works working near perfectly as designed.
This effort in its totality is to create unrest, unseat the stability of the current power, government, structure. These destabilizing efforts allow war enabled factions to take over regions, countries.
But this is the goal all along, so we have a bigger enemy to fight. In the US war is extremely profitable business and makes a lot of people rich. Without an enemy to fight, in peace, profits go away.
This is why the boogie man is constantly changing. When you have a war on a tactic, an inanimate thing, or ideology, it will be never ending. How's that war on drugs going America? Won that one yet? When are predicted to win it?
Somehow hundreds of other countries can secure their borders, yet the supposed greatest country on earth can't? Again this is by design, but not the one they talk about in public.
No one talks about the CIA involvement in all of this. Funneling weapons, cash, training to these factions. No one asks what operations were ongoing at the CIA annex in Benghazi. No one asks what the 15,000 employees of the Baghdad US embassy are doing in country? Approving work and travel visas? HAHAHA.
No one asks what the State Department private mercenary companies are doing in 20 countries around the world. Nor any questions about the NGO's that are socially motivating uprisings as they were recently busted doing in Cuba.
Amazing how ignorant we are as a country. We work extremely hard to destabilizing a country with covert means, the publically state it's a terrorist action. When all along we're the ones doing it via a local proxy. Publicly this is justification for more war. American's can't be more disinterested is seems in discerning the real reality behind all of this governing from crisis to crisis.
We did the same in Afghanistan in the 80's via the Russians enabling the Mujaheddin with US weapons, money, tactics. Oliver North did the same with the Contras. It's simply a repeat and rinse that's being going on for 30 years now. The implications for our country are very grave if we continue with this policy.

WW II was the last war America chose to win.

WWII was also the last time the US actually issued a declaration of war.

More money in not declaring war. An open ended engagement is preferred by the Military Industrial Complex. Trillions and trillions are at stake.

Ironic in that we paid for this. Well not exactly. We haven't yet "paid", it's on the US credit card. Though AM General got paid and now our kids get the obligation of paying $200k for the unit plus interest. How exciting. Only one example of monetary waste that's prevalent throughout our military and private security operations.

It's all about the Industrial Military Complex as already has been stated. The average American will never know the true reason we get involved in things we had no business sticking our nose in.
