OZ!

Went with the wife to see it. (She's a huge fan of the original.)

First, it's a prequel. I don't know if it's based on a book before Wizard, but either way it is well written.

This is also the first movie that I've seen in 3D. The added feature did add to the experience and kids will definitely love it. The coloring, light and over all feel compared well with the original. It also starts in black and white.

All the actors fit their roles nicely and the wicked whitch of the west even has the same creepy cackle! (Don't be surprised if you think she looks good hot in leather pants either. )

Will it age as well as Wizard of OZ? I don't know, but it's worth seeing.
