Guy I work with picked up a Raider couple weeks ago. New/old stock 2012. 1900cc's of balls out fast. You can kinda see it in the background of my RK.

Sounds like a up-sized version of the Vmax.
IIRC back in '85 they rolled it out on a rotating stage while doing a really smokey burnout.

Looks nice, that is the kind of cruiser I like. Had a '86 Honda Shadow 700 for a short while and liked it.

The Raider may have a couple hundred CC's on the VMax, but the Max has two extra cylinders and gobs more power. I'm thinking the VMax would eat the Raider for breakfast. As far as looks go though, the Raider wins hands down, IMO.

Gottch'ya, didn't realize the Raider was a V-twin vs the V-4 of the 'max.
Haven't followed bikes for decades now. Still remember when the 600 Ninja was fast bike. Embarassed

I've spent some seat time on a Max. Quick bike and reasonably comfortable.
