Yea you can do it.  Sure.  Free to do whatever.  

The downside is one taking a very capable tool and making it useless.  Thought that was likely not in the consideration from the onset.

That big Ford was looking fairly good for a show truck.
Dual rate springs on the coil overs, front/rear sway bars,
BUT then I noticed the front drive shaft.  

Truck needs 2.5 ton Rockwells for two reasons:
1-axle tube strength for the leverage of the big tires
2-top loader input for the driveshaft.
