| My sister and two nephews live in Moore, OK. Proximity of her house A and Plaza Tower Elementary B. My sisters son lives just south of Plaza Towers Elementary at SW 19th and Eagle Drive. Path of the tornado varied from ENE or NE as it progressed eastward. They're all in good standing. My sister got back to her home briefly its still standing, actual damage is unknown as mud, insulation and other debris has pasted the house and the neighborhood. She said 200 to 300 yards north of her house, houses were destroyed. My sister was kicked out of the neighborhood due to multiple natural gas leaks. It looks like my brother and I are going to gather up some supplies for her along with a generator here in Dallas and see if we can get to her house after they let people back in. My sister stated there are zero utilities currently, not even water. | |

| Glad to hear your family is safe. Hopefully nobody else here has family or friends that were involved in this disaster. After having too close a call with a tornado a couple years back, I can definitely relate to the horror these poor people are going through. | |

| Good to hear no personal injuries. Do you know anyone with a bed mounted fuel tank you could borrow? If you could bring an extra 100 gallons of fuel it would save lots of time not having to stand in line for gas.
Remember to disconnect the main circuit breaker so you don't back feed into the grid and put utility workers at risk.

| Thanks for the insight Dan.
I don't have access to in in bed tank. Though we're going to use what we have so far. Five, five gallon containers. Not much but we'll buy the initial fuel before we make the trek up. I may even try to find some more containers if we had room.
Picked up a decent generator, Generac GP5500 5500 continuous watts and with 6875 start up.
Thanks for the tip on the main. I'm bringing my brother who has experience with power in data center infrastructures. He's got guys at his work right now making us up some twist lock plugs...lah blah lah technical gargin L20 L30 twist lock blah blah blah. I guess he knows what he doing, cause I don't.
Making a list of necessities.....

I've got some limited supply of store-able dehydrated food about 10 days worth for four people firearm sewage (need water to flush the toilet) bucket (transfer water to the toilet) wheel barrel work gloves hard sole shoes, boots

| Generac is on my list of companies to invest in during natural disasters.
That list could be unending: batteries, flashlights, lanterns, first-aid kit, dust mask, garbage bags, tools, can opener, soap, hair shampoo, bug spray, ...

| Glad to hear your family is okay. One thing I like for power outages are glow sticks. Put them in the hallway and kitchen at night and you can at least get around without having to turn on a flashlight. I saw a generator at Costco that runs both on Propane and gasoline. ____________________________________ Don't believe everything you read on the internet- George Washington.

| My brother was talking about going by Costo this morning but never did.. Collectively we only made it to Northern tool and equipment, Lowes, and Home Depot. Just filled up two standard size propane bottles and bought another four pack of the small portable ones.
Waiting for her to give us the go signal. Last I had heard I-35 was still closed she was trying to find out if she could get back in the neighborhood. Supposedly police are strict who they are allowing in.

| Good idea on the glow sticks, I've got some cheap LED flashlights that will burn for 4/5 days on a pair of double A's. | |

| Baby wipes are good for a quick cleanup too. Maybe some hand gel also. | |

| We still have areas of our county that don't allow people in past sunset. due to Hurricane Sandy. There is still a problem with looters and thieves and the State Police are on the islands in numbers to deter the criminals. The sad part is last week a building inspector was arrested over there stealing copper. Hopefully you will be able to your sisters soon. ____________________________________ Don't believe everything you read on the internet- George Washington.

| Still no access, national guard won't allow her in yet. There's no ETA at this time. She did here water service was restored. Looting from her understanding has been minor, but still present. Here's two of them.... | |

| As of 7am this morning there's no more government checkpoints. America? Just checking.
They still advise to not be out after dark. Not go out after dark in the "greatest country in the world". Hell of a country we have going here, or least it used to be.
Water is back on at the house. It has an odor to it, so boiling what she drinks.
