Ford F-150 Plant to Add 2,000 Jobs

To be specific, Ford will add 900 employees on the F-150 line in the third quarter of this year with a third shift, and then in the fourth quarter they'll be adding another 1,100 employees at the facility to accommodate the fact they'll be building the new fullsize Transit van on a parallel line.

Good news.

Previously researching manufacturing in the US over the decades I learned of how dominating we once were, compared to what we have now. The figures were shocking. Shocking in how it doesn't get any air time or spoken about ever.

I'll see if I can relocate the information.
