Old Bug Dog

Lost our old 2006 model Bug Dog last month, he's been slowing down the past year or so, then the siezures were getting worse and worse. Old fella had a stroke and we chose to put him to sleep. He was a good one.

Just got this ball of fire last week. Ziggy. Full blast eating your foot, or full on coma. No inbetween. Older dachshunds like him too. Taz is the red one, Oz is the black/tan one.

Im still not over mine for more than a year ago.

Its hard losing them. Son took it the hardest, it was his dog that he picked out. Wife babied him the past year or so, keeping him comfortable as possible treating his arthritis and curbing his siezures with hemp treats. Hit her hard too. The meds worked pretty well for the most part. But you can't cheat age.

We had him cremated, have his ashes in a nice carved wooden box, they made a paw print in plaster and a nose print too. Nice little memorial of him.

Dogs are part of the family, hard when they go. Mine hasn't left my side since I had surgery. so loyal.

Sorry to hear it Pup. I have Buddy on my side table in a wooden box with his name engraved on it.
