Glad the trip is going well.

The F250 6.7 PowerStroke gets about 13.5mpgs towing the RZR on the 12ft trailer at 78mph.
Gets over 15 if I keep it around 65mph.

Ford 6-Speed auto is about 13156121532466% better than the Chrysler 68RFE in the Ram.
Overall, the F250 is more powerful, puts the power to use better, has a better ride, smoother, all around better truck. The Ram was nice, its a damn solid truck too, but just not on the same level. Basic radio on the XLT has too small of a screen, but it does the job well enough.

Covered lots of ground in the back country this year. Went over some passes and trails we've never seen. Nice quiet trip overall. Never once turned a TV on. Saw some nice sunrises and sunsets and lots and lots of quiet.

783 miles on the way back, stopped twice for fuel. Did the trip back in 12hrs. I could have made it on one stop if I stretched the first stop out a bit longer, but coffee won. Ended up filling up about 75 miles from home on the second stop.

Got back just in time for the first 100 temp days with heat indexes in the 115's.

Its been plenty hot here but luckily low humidity.

We are planning on going back to Winter Park this Thanksgiving,

I've been thru the mountains during the winter, but never stayed up there for any amount of time. I'm going to go up there once one January or so to see it.

Got some canvas prints of some of the pics from this year for my home office.
