| Bought this Champion Generator almost 3yrs ago when they were running a sale at Cabelas...paid $249 for it back then. Never unboxed it until today. Installed the wheel and handle kit, added the oil and gas, it fired up on the first pull. It won't run everything at once in my toyhauler, but it will run one ac when needed. | I bought a Briggs & Stratton 7000 watt when Hurricane Sandy hit to replace a smaller Honda generator. It will run my RV with no problem. I mainly use it for power outages. I ran it 12 hours a day for 8 days during Sandy, the next week for 3 days when a freak snow storm hit. The key is to fire it up every month or so under load. It doesn't get much use but is good for a peace of mind. How many hours will yours run with a full tank? I can run for close to 10 hours per 5 gallons. ____________________________________ Don't believe everything you read on the internet- George Washington.

| I'm guessing about 10hrs based on another one I had of similar size. | |

| That's nice. Long cord and you can sleep in quiet with the A/C on. ____________________________________ Don't believe everything you read on the internet- George Washington.

| Friend of mine is using it for his car hauler trailer this weekend. Its rigged up with 30amp service and a 15k btu ac. He's out racing RZR's at TexPlex. Should get a nice workout and will find out just how long a tank lasts. Gonna be good and hot. | |

| I find that changing the oil every 40 hours of use helps the longevity of the engine. My Honda 3500 ran great, the circuit board went bad and I couldn't get a replacement. ____________________________________ Don't believe everything you read on the internet- George Washington.

| I'm going to change out the oil after this weekend, and will do regular intervals after that. | |

| I like the Honda 2200. You can connect 2 and get more power, very dependable, easy to carry. God luck with yours. ____________________________________ Don't believe everything you read on the internet- George Washington.

| Today, Knowing we are getting the tropical storm from Florida, I filled my generator up with gas and let it run my compressor for an hour under load. I then went to the gas station and filled up my pickup and 4-5 gallon gas cans. I not worried about the tropical storm that will make it here Tuesday, I'm just going to start the hurricane season with everything ready to go. Generator takes 7 gallons of fuel, supposed to run for 13 hours at 50%. 6200 watts startup, 5000 normal running, ____________________________________ Don't believe everything you read on the internet- George Washington.

| I bought it during Hurricane Sandy. It worked well and is in still great shape. 9hp ____________________________________ Don't believe everything you read on the internet- George Washington.

| 75% of my town lost power for 3 days because of the recent tropical storm. My son and daughter lost it but I got lucky. ____________________________________ Don't believe everything you read on the internet- George Washington.

| Sold the Champion to my bud who borrowed it, picked this one up from Harbor Freight on Thursday. Super quiet, electric start, runs like a top. | |

| Looks like it will be perfect for the trailer. They run a lot cleaner and your appliances will be more safe. ____________________________________ Don't believe everything you read on the internet- George Washington.
