| Looks nice. Have fun. We have some around here in the bay. I don't go fishing until summer is over and the tourists are gone. I hope I don't see you on Lone Star Law. ____________________________________ Don't believe everything you read on the internet- George Washington.

| Cheaper to keep the fishing licenses, etc all up to date than pay the fines. And the game wardens here will check you.
Everything on the boat is is good working order. Just need to pick up a fire extinguisher to mount on board and some life vests for when we have extra people. All the lights are fine.

| As they say, Bring Out Another Thousand. I'd love to have a little fishing boat but there aren't many good fishing lakes near. We went lake fishing last week and the lake was heavily filled with algae. We never got so much as a nibble. They say algae is more common in AZ late summer even in lakes at 9000ft elevation. We will stick that in the memory banks. | |

| I can fresh water fish in my backyard and have to have a license to do so. If I cross the street and fish on the other side I need a salt water license. The salt water license is free. When I renew my hunting license I get my fresh water and trout stamp with it. I was both happy and pissed when I got my license this year. It cost less as I'm over 65. ____________________________________ Don't believe everything you read on the internet- George Washington.

| Texas has Fresh Water, A Salt Water or a Combo...then you need a Trout Stamp if you want to fish those when they stock them in the winter.
I'm 4-5hrs from the Gulf, no need for a Combo. Dont fish for any trout in TX, so no need for that either.
I used to hunt some before the leases became higher than giraffe pu$$y, so I no longer need a deer license either.
We'll do all our own mtc on the boat. Won't be paying anyone for that. Guy I went 50/50 with is retired Navy, so he has a lifetime pass to all the Corp of Engineers lakes and launches. Save money there, and those types of pay ramps keeps the lowlife meth critters out of the parking lots there.

| We had a 24' starcraft pontoon and only had a 60 HP merc. The 115 would have been more fun.
You'll have fun, enjoy!

| Im jealous again. I really want a pontoon boat to fish and play on. I have no desire for a traditional "fishing boat". | |

| We took it out last Saturday, caught a bunch of throwbacks, broke off a couple of decent ones. Upgraded our light tackle and will hit the lake again tomorrow. Cruises along at 20mph at about 3/5ths throttle with 4 people on board. Lots of room for everyone. | |

| Glad you got it up and running. I understand it is hotter than normal. Still plenty of time to fish. ____________________________________ Don't believe everything you read on the internet- George Washington.

| Not been a bad summer here. Just a few weeks of 100+, usually have way more than that. June was cooler than normal. July was too for the most part. August has been hot and humid. Looks like the run of 100+ ends today or tomorrow.
We can fish pretty much year round here. When it does get cold, it doesn't last long til it moderates.

| My best fishing times are Spring and Fall up to Winter. I generally go surf fishing for Stripped Bass. They like the ocean to be between 55 and 62. Fresh water I fish in my back yard. ____________________________________ Don't believe everything you read on the internet- George Washington.

That's hot! Yesterday was the best day of the summer. 75, cool breeze. I did a lot of yard work since it was so nice. Last night 62 with the windows open it was good sleeping weather. Today the same, more humid and a 20% chance of rain this evening. A good time to change the oil in my daughters car. Later in the week back up to the mid 80's. I don't know if Jason has blow fish in his area but my oldest daughter and husband are catching up to 100 when they go out. 2 on each line every time. Two nice filets, and if you bread them they are one of the best tasting fish I have eaten. Some years they run strong, other years only a few. They put dry cat food in the water and kill them while the other boats catch nothing and don't understand why they aren't catching anything. ____________________________________ Don't believe everything you read on the internet- George Washington.

| When I installed the ac system I went with 2 mini splits. One for each floor so if one failed I still have some ac capacity. | |
