| I took a sleep study test a couple of weeks ago and no surprise that I have sleep apnea. Today I received the CPAP machine and am hoping for a good nights sleep. I tried on every mask the company had. Not too comfortable but most people say I will get used to it. I don't think I have slept through the night in 15 years. ____________________________________ Don't believe everything you read on the internet- George Washington.

| No I have not, know some people that do. I don't sleep through the night either but I don't believe it's from that. I'd call myself a paranoid light sleeper. If I could have a sealed concrete bunker and a vault door I might be able to relax. That or alcohol helps. My wife used to complain that she'd roll over and I'd jump up saying "what, what?". Then my hearing becomes super sensitive at night, even with almost constant ringing. If the pilot on the furnace kicked on funny, in the basement 1/2 way across the house it'd wake me up. In the 5th wheel camper the ceiling fan is under the a/c unit in the living room and if she leaves the fan on and the a/c kicks in I can feel the pressure pulses from the fan blades in my ears up in the bunk. That took me a bit to figure that one out. | |

| They had me use one in the hospital. It did seem to help, but they also woke me up every hour or so all night for other stuff. | |

| After one night of use I have no comment on whether it works or not. I'll wait a week and see if I notice any difference. ____________________________________ Don't believe everything you read on the internet- George Washington.

| Good luck with it. My uncle uses it and it seems to help him. My aunt likes it because it reduces his snoring to a tolerable level.
Pup, I hated the hospital stay when I stayed the night with my FIL after his heart surgery. A nurse would come in and do whatever they needed and then tell him to get some rest and between 30 minutes to 1.5 hours another would come in and do the same. He never rested much because he is a big baby when he gets sick and because they wouldn't leave him alone long enough to get back to sleep. | |

| I'm still not sleeping all night. It screws up your sleep patterns something fierce. Constant waking and cat napping. | |

| In the past 10 years I have spent one week on three separate occasions, and a few days for my gall bladder. Sleeping in the hospital is next to impossible. Check your BP every few hours, draw blood every morning at 0500, clean your room in the middle of the night. You have to go home to rest. ____________________________________ Don't believe everything you read on the internet- George Washington.

| I'm not a patient visitor and I'm an even grumpier patient. I scared an intern off when I was in the ER earlier this year, My mom, the dr, and the nurse where not thrilled or amused. The second trip in that week to a different one I told the Dr he was twatwaffle, because he was douchebag... | |

| It's been a couple of weeks, and while I sleep through the night, I still wake up tired. I know it's partially because I take Ambien and Xanax to fall asleep. I just can't initially fall asleep without them. I take less than before and the doctor said not to worry for a while until the CPAP has been in use for a while. ____________________________________ Don't believe everything you read on the internet- George Washington.

| It takes awhile Rich, you've been sleep deprived for a long time ! I use to sleep 12 hours,or so I thought, get up and be napping in the car as my wife drove an hour later. Now I'm fully rested and good to go with 7 hours of sleep.. Keep the faith, it will improve. ____________________________________ 2019 Toyota Crewmax SR5 in Super White Leer color matched cap More to come !

| Good to hear. A friend of mine told me that yesterday also. It took him a while, now he sleeps good. My machine has Wi-Fi, and today I received an email saying that I have used it correctly every night and now the insurance company has no problems with me keeping the machine at no cost to me including replacement mask and filters and hose every 90 days. ____________________________________ Don't believe everything you read on the internet- George Washington.

| I'm still very tired when I get up. I guess it will take some time to get used to. ____________________________________ Don't believe everything you read on the internet- George Washington.

| Thanks, I am waiting for the change and I know it is helping me sleep longer than I have in the past without waking up 5 or 6 times a night. It is supposed to be better for your heart. ____________________________________ Don't believe everything you read on the internet- George Washington.
