All my Milwaukee stuff is corded- 1/2" drill, 50th anniversary Sawzall, heatgun, and jigsaw and all are top notch stuff. For a pistol grip drill, that thing is a beast. Had a 4" holesaw in it one time (drilling through subfloor) when it fetched up and just about picked me up off the floor and put my elbow through some brand new 5/8" drywall. The jigsaw is actually a German made AEG dressed in Milwaukee red and much better than my previous Bosch. Sad part is Milwaukee is no longer U.S. owned- Hong Kong based TTI owns it as well as, iirc, Ryobi, Hoover and some other well known brand names. Not much of it is made here anymore either but that is par for the course these days for most brands. I'm partial to Makita cordless but the Milwaukee and Dewalt lines are excellent as well .... I'd have no qualms owning any of them.
