| The boy will be 21 on the 27th, I bought him a Truglo Tru-Point laser/light combo, a quad rail hand guard, a hand guard rail bipod, a nice guncase/gear bag and 500rnds of ammo for his AR15.
I'm gonna send him to the beer store to pick me up a nice cold case of Coors that day too...lol

| Your spoiling him, I think the 500 rounds is over the top, send it to me and I will dispose of it in the proper way. My son turned 21 May 27 of this year. He had his first beer, didn't like it. He laughs when I ask him to pick me up a 4 pack of Guinness on his way home. Don't worry, you not getting old yet, I also have a 40 year old son. He makes my beer, makes a good stout. ____________________________________ Don't believe everything you read on the internet- George Washington.

| Never really understood your drinking age. You can drive as a teen and go to war as a teen... but STEP AWAY FROM THAT ALCOHOL!
With that said, I thought I heard that they may be raising the age here too.

| It was 18 when I was coming up. The Feds blackmailed the states by withholding highway funds unless they changed it to 21.
Just another instance of an overbearing, overreaching, over gorged Federal gubbment

| When I was 19, they changed the drinking age to 18. I'm guessing that lasted less than 10 years before they put it back to 21. NY was 18, so we could drive over the bridge, drink and go back home. ____________________________________ Don't believe everything you read on the internet- George Washington.

| One of the benefits of joining the military at 18 is being able to buy/drink alcohol. Hopefully they didn't take that away. | |

| Back in school, we'd all go to old Maw Wingates store on the edge of town. If you were old enough to get the money up on the counter, she sold you whatever you wanted.
We'd go buy a 6 pack on the way to shop class that was off campus, stuff the cans in our overalls, slide under a truck and drink them.
6 packs of Milwaukees Best "The Beast" was .99 cents back in the mid 80's. And it tasted horrible.

| Still does but when the stores are closed and its all you have, it'll do the trick. | |

| I had a small store that sold warm beer only who would sell me cases of beer having to know I was underage. I was 17 at the time with a light beard and drinking age was 21. ____________________________________ Don't believe everything you read on the internet- George Washington.
