Subject: Tundra Rust Recall February 3rd 2015, 4:32 pm
Own a Tundra? I just got the letter from Toyota requesting a look-see at the chassis to look for the severe rusting the 2004 - 2006 Tundra may have. Since it is a recall, it seems worth having them check.

With you being in California, not the most corrosive environment in the world, will be interesting to hear the dealerships analysis.
Midwest or Northeast might be another story.

Toyota had this same issue a while back and ultimately replaced a bunch of chassis.

Got the Frame Rust Recall Inspection notice from Toyota
Clean as a whistle.
