Merry Christmas to all!! ... hope this coming year is the best one yet. A brown Christmas here but I'm not complaining ...

... after last winter the more the snowblower sits the better I like it. Laying in the snow, -10F and 25 mph wind, replacing a busted shear bolt ... I'm getting too old for that crap.

All in all feeling pretty good this Christmas. My recovery is well ahead of schedule ... able to put up to 50% of my weight on the broken leg. Shoulder separation has healed up pretty well. Still using a walker to get around but am able to drive again (a manual no less) and am back to work, light duty but full time. It was either that or a prescription for Prozac  from watchin' too much tv- 120 channels and there's jacksquat to watch. Hope to graduate to crutches/ cane soon.

Two months without a paycheck really hurt... nice to see a little $ in my bank account again. Some of us here have had health issues over the past year ... hope this year is a healthy one for all.

Good to see you up and about. I agree, TV gets old too quick.
Paychecks are nice, I'm going back to work when school reopens. Don't know how many days a week I'll work, but come April Social Security and my pension will allow me to choose how many days I'll want to work.

My ribs are mostly good now from the accident. The left hip is what is lagging. Gives me hell on cold wet days.

Then my Cardiologist told me yesterday he wants to do a nuclear stress test in a week or so.

I'm hoping that means I'll be certified to launch atomic tipped ICBM's indiscriminately.

We were out of town all week.

Part deux of the trip went good.
Made it about 1 hour out and the PMD started failing so we turned around and grabbed the Diesel Cruze instead, couldn't take everything but we did get 46 MPG over 320 miles averaging 71 mph so somewhat better than the 6.5TD would have got!
