Found this too good not to share.
We hear a lot about "feminism" these days, and how they're all about "empowerment", and the trials they face in today's world. But, I think there's some distinctions to be drawn between "feminists" around the world:
Kurdish Feminist: "I wish I didn't have to know how to field strip and clean an AK-47."
Pakastani Feminist: "I wish I could marry the man I love without my father beating me to death for it."
Afghani Feminist: "I wish I could go to school without being shot or having my ear cut off."
Iranian Feminist: "I wish I wasn't being stoned to death because I was raped."
Syrian Feminist: "I wish my genitals hadn't been mutilated."
Iraqi Feminist: "I wish I hadn't been forced to marry someone I hated when I was 10 years old."
American Feminist: "Whaddya mean I gotta pay for my own birth control?"
Feminism is about more than being a big pink vagina...
