Rick,

How's the truck holding up since the accident?
Paint still looking good?
How about rust on the aftermarket bumper?

Truck is holding up perfectly. No issues at all with the paint. Don't know if I mentioned it or not, but after going back to the place where I got the bumper, they contacted Ranch Hand and sent them pictures of the bad spots on the bumper, and they sent out a new bumper within a week and I haven't had any problems with it since. Kudos to Ranch Hand.
Truck hasn't been driven much in the last year. I basically only use it for any towing or hauling, and for Search and Rescue. Otherwise, it sits in the garage with about 180k miles on it. I will take it for a trip to the store every now and then to keep it active.
How is your truck doing?
I do miss driving my truck. It has the best ride and the least problems out of all 3 of our vehicles. I just put $1300 into the hyundai for new tires and bearings, as well as a few other issues found during the bearing replacement job. The Subaru's trans is acting up and needs new tires as well.

The GMT-800's are fantastic trucks.  Still which I had mine.  I need a 5000 square foot steel building so that I never need to get rid of any vehicle ever again.  Which I still had all of them I had ever owned.

Same here, I still wish I had all the vehicles I've ever owned.

At first I thought having a 1500HD and 2500HD GM was a little confused. Now, as I see it, the 1500HD would be perfect for me. I don't see as many around, but the ones I do see seem to have held up well.

Doing good as well.
Just like yours it sits most of the time anymore. It only has about 142K miles on it.
I fail to see why I should wear it out running around empty, guess we are just getting old. Suspect

We recently bought a new Cruze with the 2.0L TD, traded in our 2 yr old Cruze 1LT with the 1.4T. Other than the common water pump leak it was a great car. The TD has noticeably more power than the gas engines.

Geez, I swear he posted a month or two ago, has it really been that long? Time is passing more quickly these days.

I believe with all the different types of social media out there, forums are on the endangered species list. People are moving on to bigger and better things. There's still a great group of guys on the regular user list here though.
