Got rid of the stock HD "Football" cover and went with this one.

Looks good. Doesn't hide the motor like the stock one.

Has to get cooler air this way too. The stock cover was sucking it right off the fins. This one has way better access.

I assume it came with it's own air filter too. I know K&N always said a 5% (I think) gain in power. Does this one advertise any power gains?

I had a Ness Big Sucker Stage 1 air kit on it, it used the stock cover. Ness uses a K&N style filter though.

I have a fuel processor, DynoJet Power Commander V, on the bike too, have it mapped for the air kit, open (catless) headers and 4" Rinehart slip on's.

Tons of difference in stock to what I have running.

I was always concerned about water getting into the filter with that style. Never had a problem but it was on my mind.
