Ford Recalls Empty
PostSubject: Ford Recalls   Ford Recalls EmptyJuly 24th 2014, 1:30 pm

Flying under the radar perhaps?

Just this morning I see an owner complaint about a do not drive recall on his 2014 F150 recall 14V316. Something with a steering component not installed correctly.

Our '12 Edge was just serviced within the last two weeks. Recall 13S13B fuel line replacement due to circumstances of fire. Recall 14S10 right hand front half shaft retention. The latter I wasn't aware until we got it back from the dealer, seems this was less than two weeks old.

My '13 F150 was recalled 13E03 a PCM reprogram, something with the emission system key on sequence the never completed the test/startup cycle making the vehicle run rich.

The '12 Edge has two extended coverage campaigns on components that are having a high failure rate.

Not as much public scrutiny here, maybe it's not warranted.

I'd say a do not drive is in order for the 4600 vehicles in question. Should also have applied to the 500,000+ Dodge trucks with rear axle lock ups. This should be known as the year of recalls for the automotive industry. GM already at 30,000,000+/-.
