New 2013 RAM HD on the lot exclusive

Was getting my free oil change and took a walk through the dealer lot. Low and behold... a brand spankin new 2013 HD with the new DEF Cummins.....

$44K for a regular cab

I still remember a crew cab chevy 4x4 6.5TD stickering for $36K in 2000.
Many a moon ago now.
They Rams are the best looking HDs IMO now.

In 2002 I ordered a crew cab, 8' bed 4X4 Chevy Diesel and with rebates paid $34K from Reidman in PA.

I still want a Ford truck with a Cummins engine and a Allison transmission.

After rebates that 6.5 truck was in the $28-29K range.

My truck in 03 was 55k. I am sure glad I bought it for 26 with about 65k on the clock in 07. Now I have 156k and will only take a 8-9k hit as is, 6-7 if I got it all in shape to sell.

Does it have that big gigantic goiter under the cab like GM trucks have ?

What goiter an Allison, nope 4r100 or whatever its called. No handshaker here, they have shift interlocks and in traffic having to use the clutch to shift is an aerobic work out

No its the D.E.F tank under the passenger side of the cab , low enough to get torn if it goes of a paved road .

That angle makes it look low but I'd bet it doesn't hang below the frame.

My Mexican landscaper bought a brand new 2012 2500 Cummins for $51k. He should've been able to get a discount with the new 2013 coming. I'd think the new 1500 diesel would've been a better option but oh well. I was blown away as he's a pretty thrifty guy, drove a little Ford Ranger for years. I hope he can write it off for his business.
