As it turns out, I have developed an allergy to eggs of all things. It started about a year ago, had breakfast, cooked eggs for my daughter and I, and afterwards I got pretty sick but nothing happened to her. Couple months later same thing, so I stayed away from the eggs. This past weekend my wife informs me that our eggs from our ducks will not make me sick. Bullsh!t, I thought I was going to die, hugged the bowel for 12 hours. Why do I listen to my wife?

Have you tried taking a probiotic ? I used to think I was lactose intolerant but since taking a probiotic everyday i feel better and dairy products don't bother me any longer. Might be worth a shot.

I take probiotic yogurt every day. Work had a bring your favorite breakfast food in the other day. I've only been eating 3 meals a day and nothing else for 2 months to lose weight (its working great) and just the smell of eggs had me feeling sick. It's tough, it used to be a weekend treat for me, now I can't get near them.

Its been said our body changes over time. As a kid I never had a problem with animals, now I am allergic to pet dander, especially cats. Pollen is also an issue for me but wasnt years ago. Sucks getting older. Food Allergy 1446659450

It could be worse, I could develop an allergy for beer and whiskey!

The opposite for me ...... as a kid I had chronic ear infections, asthma etc. Some docs wanted to take out my tonsils, others my adenoids. Folks took me to an allergist ... they were pretty rare about 1960 or so. They did the 'scratch test' and found I was allergic to dog hair, cat hair ... animal dander, leaves, trees, grass. Sucked to be kid who loved to be outdoors with allergies like that ..... kinda like owning a Maserati Wink. Got shots once a week in the beginning to build up resistance and gradually outgrew most of it. Maybe an allergist might help or at least offer some meds that alleviate the symptoms.

No allergy but the days seem to be gone when I could wolf down a rack of beer with no ill effects. These days a couple of cold Boston Lagers after work, work better than Sominex.

I'm good for 2 beers, 3 tops and I have to quit because I know I'll regret it in the morning. I can drink 4 oz. of Whiskey or Bourbon on the rocks and have no problem in the morning. My older son made some good stout, it took me a month to drink it all.

I gave up drinking specialty beers. I even tried drinking a half beer but it still made me drag my butt the next morning. I can't do it and get up at 430a.
