hit a massive one, gotta love chicago

had to get a new wheel (bent) and a new tire (tire was wobbling even after new wheel put on).

since my tires are down to 12/32, and the new one is 16/32 they said they and BFG would recommend getting two news ones so the tread is even on the same axle otherwise it will probably ride messed up and/or pull.

they did help me out on the costs, etc, but still had to dive into the wallet pretty deep

these BFGs are 266 a piece

damn...

Get the front end shaken down and likely alignment done just to verify nothing else is out of kilter.

But they tell us inflation is held mostly flat at 2% annually. Actual purchases by real people indicate differently.

Just put four tires on the wife's car, just shy of $1000. Any raw material has become expensive. Rubber, wood, concrete, metal, anything and everything.

well,

got to the shop first thing this morning, they got everything fixed up.

they guy did a great job, truck is smooth as glass again.

threw him 20 bucks tip for the guy who actually did the work

he said he really appreciated that.

was one hell of a hit to ruin a BFG AT KO Load D tire, those are pretty damn tough

To save the $$ you could have had the new tire shaved down to the same diameter as the others.
