Satin Powder Coat Looking Paint Empty

I'm seeing custom vehicle paint jobs these days in a dull, satin, flat look. Sometimes looks like powder coat. A little Mad Max apocalyptic look. To me it's a refreshing change. Wonder if it's a fad or here to stay.
