| How about the other side of the "glitch" where it gave people no spending limit and they were buying $700 worth of stuff with a $.49 balance... | |

| That was a Walmart cashier, management decision in allowing people to exploit the system outage. Available funds and balance couldn't be verified. The case wasn't they didn't all of a sudden have an infinite balance. Balances couldn't be verified. Once word got out, mayhem was the result. Threats of rioting are all over twitter if people couldn't get food on their EBT's. If I go into Walmart and my debt card doesn't work, the transaction won't clear, or simply isn't authorized the employees and management don't let me walk out with anything and everything I want. It was a people decision. Walmart backed with police finally corrected the ill fated decision allowing people to take goods without a legitimate transaction. That's why many shopping carts full of items were abandoned. Now if the EBT system is cut off completely. What is the reaction? The preface to this situation has been put into play. | |

| While patiently waiting for the Zombie Apocalypse to happen, I just realized that it's already happened. They walk amongst us now. Cut off the funding to the slop trough, and chaos will ensue in a matter of seconds.

| Reminds me of when a new super walmart was going up and they were installing the first digital fuel price board. Fuel prices were <$2/gallon then and suddenly a $3.00+/gal was displayed. People rushed the gas stations, news jumped on it etc. Wal-mart made a statement that is was just a accident and that gas wasn't going to be $3/gallon, apparently they seen the writing on the wall with global economic activities and were planning for the future. Same thing could be happening here, trial run. - Quote :

That is well over 10% of the entire population people!

Based on a population of 315 million, 47 million would be 14.6875% of the entire population. I've seen other figures that stated one of six are receiving some type of social benefit payment.

| The people on SS Disability has exponentially increased under this regime too. I have a neighbor that is allergic to work of any kind, including basic hygiene.
He hired one of those drive-by fraudster lawyers and is now collecting Social Security Disability. I'm quite sure he's on food stamps too. He's about 45 years old or so, still lives with his widowed mother, drives her car around, rent free, insurance free, and we are footing the bill for this CO2 pump.
It's the new American Dream, further proof that America is Dead.

There was a 60 Minutes news story on those fraudsters. Social Security is starting to chase down the lawyers. The lawyers make big bucks, hire full time docs to sit in the lawyer's office and rubber stamp claims as clients walk in. The lawyer's office had one handicapped parking space, but it didn't matter, all the clients walked in like anyone else. Some towns in PA thrive on disability claims. They say the stores are crowded the day after disability checks arrive in the mail. Turn 'em in. There might be a government fraud finders fee of 15%.

| The SS Administration has that loophole pretty well covered. This is from their website on reporting fraud. http://ssa-custhelp.ssa.gov/app/answers/detail/a_id/48/Social Security's Office of Inspector General takes reports of fraud very seriously. Without sufficient identifying information, OIG will be unable to act on your allegation. Therefore, be sure to include as much of the following information as you can when you call:
Name, address, telephone number, and Social Security number of the person suspected of fraud. Also include the individual's date and place of birth, father's name, and mother's birth name, if known; A complete description of the potential fraud incident; and Your name, address, and telephone number.
Yeah, all of that info is just laying around for anyone outside the NSA to get. They make it impossible to report, yet ask for you to report it. Typical gubbment BS.

Beside that, I've spoken with Medicare investigators before and they have a low water mark of about $1 million before they'll investigate a case. They have limited resources so they need to go after the best bang for the buck. The best bet is chasing after those scoundrel lawyers. It might be interesting to walk through the slime ball's door as a pretend disability case and see what the process is and then report it.

| I'm thinking of registering Democrat, burning my passport, changing my name to Jose' Canu Si and just joining them. The pay is better, the stress is less and I get free steak and shrimp for dinner.
All I need is one good slimy a$$ lawyer and I am set for life.

Yes! fraud was the norm in the healthcare bubble. I'm currently aware of a sizeable healthcare fraud ($9 million) and am tempted to report it.

| I was splitting wood a few years back and a piece kicked back into my leg hard enough to go in for x-rays.
Long story short, the hospital billed my insurance co 42 grand. I caught it, called them and told them all I got was one x-ray and a tetanus shot. The hospital billed them for multiple days, a surgery, drugs, and all the fixin's.
It was fixed with a "o-shit, we screwed up and sent in the wrong bill" that just happened to have all my personal info, etc.....riiiiiiigggggggghhhhhhhhttttttt. I bet that goes on 50 times a day in each hospital.
