New gaskets

Did this a few months ago but didn't post any pics, kinda dark so we'll see how it turns out.
Bought a rust free southern Blazer and decided to reseal the engine.

Here is a pic of the external leak, not quite bad enough to make it too the ground for a warning sign.


Condition of the gasket sealing areas in distressed condition. They will fail with major coolant intrusion into the crankcase.

Is that the 3.4 V6? Didn't the 3.4's have a known intake gasket issue? Memory is failing me.

I think you mean 4.3L V6?

Actually almost all GM V-engines with wet manifolds are known for gasket issues.
In this case it is the 4.3L engine.
